Message from our President
Hello, I’m Elizabeth, President of Greystones Bowling Club.
Welcome to our new website.
The last two years have been difficult for the Bowling Leagues of Ireland due to Covid. We have started making plans for this season and we hope they will come to fruition. Luckily enough we have a terrific membership who were able to keep practice and domestic games going, to provide an outlet while life was at a standstill, all the while adhering to Covid guidelines.
Bowls has the name of being a game for old ” fuddy duddys,” (wish I had joined when I was younger) this is not always the case – there are junior teams in the league. We at Greystones will welcome juniors, female, or male, who wish to find out more about the game. If you are passing, come in and talk to us, free coaching can be arranged for you. You can be assured of a very warm welcome.
All the winter work is being done on the green so we will continue to have the best grass green in the Country.
Elizabeth Eager. President
