Greystones Bowling Club got their new season up and running on Sunday with a ceremonial unfurling of the flags by the Officers of the club. The Irish flag was raised by club President Fergus O’Brien, the Wicklow flag was raised by the Ladies Captain Jo Diethrick and the Greystones Bowling Club flag was raised by Men’s Captain, John Conroy.

The club situated in Burnaby Park and is a beautiful garden setting. A lot of hard work has been completed by the club members to keep it in pristine condition.

The club have recently updated their website ( outlining club activities, contact details and past history. The club has been in existence since 1985.  The club will hold an Open Weekend on Saturday and Sunday the 11/12th May for those interested in trying out the game. Coaching and bowls will be provided. All are welcome. Watch out for details of the open days on that weekend. Greystones Bowling Club are the current Irish Lawn Bowling (ILB) Cooper Cup holders and compete in several leagues in Leinster. They have several roll-ups during the week where members enjoy some friendly competitions. If you see anyone on the green do come in and find out about the club.
